The Veterinary Council of India (VCI) has announced the results of the first round of allotment to 15% All India Quota seats of the Bachelor of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry (BVSc and AH) programme in recognized government/private veterinary colleges.

Allotments are being made based on the rank in NEET UG 2025. First-round results are available at https://vci.admissions.nic.in

A total of 751 candidates have been allotted in Round 1 in 58 institutions, including 5 colleges in the private sector.

Those who have been allotted seats should take admission in the allotted institutions by October 21, 2025. The list of documents to be produced at the time of admission is given in the Information Bulletin on the website.

Those who take admission, if interested, can opt for an upgrade in round 2 by giving new choices (re-choice) for the second round. The option for upgradation has to be registered in the college when taking admission based on round 1 allotment. They should inform the nodal officer of the reporting institution (a list of nodal officers is available on the counselling website) of their willingness for upgradation.

The student must ensure that the option for upgradation is included in the counselling portal by the nodal officer. Students should keep a record of it. Those who do so can fill choices and participate in the second round as per the schedule for second round. However, if they get a new allotment in the second round, they will lose their seat of the first round.

Those who get a seat in the first round and do not report to the college and take admission will not be able to participate in the next round. They will be out of the allotment process.

The second round activities will begin at 11 am on October 22, 2025. Those who have registered and paid the fee in the first round, need not register again. But they have to make new choices.

Those who did not get a seat in the first round will have to fill new choices if they want to participate in the second round. Those who have opted for upgradation will also have to provide new choices.

New registration/payment of fee for the second round for those who have not registered for the first round / those who have registered for the first round but had not paid the fee; can be done till 11.55 pm on October 23, 2025. Choice filling / choice locking can also be done during this period.

The second allotment result will be declared on October 25, 2025.

Those getting allotment have to join the institutions concerned during October 25, 2025 and October 30, 2025.
