CAT 2025 final answer key expected today: Here’s how to download and understand Marking Scheme, Scorecard
The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Kozhikode is expected to release the CAT 2025 final answer key today, December 17, 2025, on the official website iimcat.ac.in. Along with the final answer key, the institute is also likely to announce the CAT 2025 scorecards shortly.
Candidates who appeared for the Common Admission Test (CAT) 2025 will be able to view and download the final answer key by logging into the official portal using their credentials.
The CAT 2025 examination was conducted by IIM Kozhikode on November 30, 2025. After releasing the provisional answer key, the institute opened an objection window from December 8 to 10, 2025, allowing candidates to challenge any discrepancies.
Over 180 objections raised by candidates
According to official information, a total of 187 objections were submitted by candidates across all three sections of the exam:
- Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension (VARC)
- Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning (DILR)
- Quantitative Ability (QA)
These objections were reviewed before finalising the answer key.

Candidates should be familiar with the marking pattern used in CAT 2025:
- Correct Answer: +3 marks
- Incorrect Answer: –1 mark
- Unattempted Question: No negative marking

The CAT 2025 scorecard will include the following details:
- Candidate’s name and registration number
- Date of birth
- Exam date, slot and timing
- Registered email ID and mobile number
- Section-wise and overall scaled scores
- Section-wise and overall percentile
- Validity period of the CAT 2025 score
