Architecture Aptitude Test registration begins for B.Arch. admission at IITs

Registration for the Architecture Aptitude Test (AAT) for admission to B.Arch. Program at IITs has commenced at https://jeeadv.ac.in/ (Candidates Portal link)
B. Arch. program is available at IIT (BHU) Varanasi, IIT Kharagpur and IIT Roorkee only.
Only those candidates who have qualified in JEE (Advanced) 2025 are eligible to appear in AAT 2025.
Registration for AAT will be open till 17:00 IST on 3rd June, 2025.
Those desirous of joining the B. Arch. (Architecture) program will have to pass the Architecture Aptitude Test (AAT).
AAT will be conducted in India at all zonal IITs.
Architecture Aptitude Test will be held from 09:00 to 12:00 IST on June 05, 2025 (Thursday). Candidate must reach examination centre by 08:00 IST.
The test will consist of one paper of three hours’ duration. Syllabus for AAT is given in Annexure I of the JEE Advanced Information Brochure 2025 at the website. Question paper for AAT will be available only in English language.
No separate admit card will be issued for AAT. The downloaded admit card of JEE (Advanced) 2025 has to be printed and produced in the AAT examination hall, along with original photo identity card. Candidates should bring their own drawing and colouring aids.
The Joint Implementation Committee of JEE (Advanced) 2025 will decide the cut-off marks for qualifying in AAT.
Results of AAT will be declared on the JEE (Advanced) 2025 online portal at 17:00 IST on June 08, 2025 (Sunday).
Candidates securing marks above the cut-off will be declared ‘pass’ in the test. There is no separate ranking in the AAT.
Allotment of seats will be solely based on the category-wise All India Rank in the JEE (Advanced) 2025 and B. Arch. program will be offered only to those candidates declared ‘pass’ in the AAT.
