Walk-in-Interviews for Project positions at Indian CSIR IICT, Hyderabad
Indian Institute of Chemical Technology (IICT) under the Council of Scientific & Industrial Research (CSIR) Hyderabad – 500007, is conducting Walk-in-Interviews on 6th September, 2023, for the positions of Staff in various Projects at the Institute.
The positions include Senior Project Associate, Project Associate-II; Project Associate-I and Project Assistant.
The engagement will be purely on temporary basis initially for a period up to six months which may be extended or curtailed depending on the duration of the sponsored project / satisfactory performance or conduct of the fellow as the case may be and does not entitle him/her for any permanent position in CSIR/IICT.
Eligibility: Depending on the Project, applicant should hold qualifications such as MSc in Chemistry / Polymer Science / Medicinal Chemistry / Analytical Chemistry / Food & Nutrition / Microbiology / Organic Chemistry /Agricultural Entomology /Zoology/ M.Pharmacy / MS in Medicinal Chemistry / M.Tech (Chem. Engg) / B.Tech (Chem / Civil / Mechanical / EE / Safety Engg)/ BSc in Science etc.
Upper age limits as on date of walk in interview are as follows: Senior Project Associate - 45, Project Associate-II and I- 35; Project Assistant- 50. The above age limits are relaxable for SC/ST/OBC and PWD candidates as per Govt. of India/ CSIR instructions on the subject.

Those who have already served CSIR-IICT or any other lab/institute of CSIR as any Project Assistant / Project Fellow / JRF (in contract R&D projects) / SRF (in contract R&D projects) / Research Associate etc., for a total period of 5 years or more are not eligible for these engagements. Those who have served for a period less than 5 years will have tenure up to remaining period till completion of 5 years.
The selection will be on the basis of interview. Skill test if applicable will be conducted for suitable posts.
Those eligible may appear for walk-in-interview on 06.09.2023, with the duly filled application form, format of which can be downloaded from www.iictindia.org; along with one set of attested relevant documents (certificates of all educational qualifications from matric/10th onwards, valid NET/GATE etc, Experience, DOB, latest Category/Caste etc). Candidates are required to bring all the original certificates for verification and should register their names for walk-in-interview between 9.30 am and 10.30 am on 06.09.2023.
