Recruitment of Engineer Trainees at Powergrid Corporation through GATE-2023

Powergrid Corporation of India Limited, a Government of India enterprise, has notified the Recruitment of Engineer Trainees through GATE-2023. 

Recruitment will be made to Powergrid and Central Transmission Utility of India Limited (CTUIL), which is presently a wholly owned subsidiary of Power Grid Corporation of India Limited. 

Engineer Trainees (ET) are required in Electrical, Civil, Electronics & Communication and Computer Science.

Essential Qualification: Applicant should hold a full time B.E./ B.Tech/ B.Sc (Engg.) from recognized University/ Institute with minimum 60% marks or equivalent CGPA. Discipline specific branches required will be as follows.

Electrical: Electrical/ Electrical (Power)/ Electrical and Electronics/ Power Systems Engineering/ Power Engineering (Electrical) 

Electronics: Electronics / Electronics & Communication/ Electronics & Telecommunication/ Electronics & Electrical Communication / Telecommunication Engg. 

Civil: Civil Engineering 

Computer Science: Computer Science/ Computer Engg./ Information Technology

Applicant should have appeared in the specified paper of GATE 2023 and should have a valid score in it, as follows: GATE 2023 Paper- ET (Electrical) - EE; ET (Civil)-CE, ET (Electronics) - EC and ET (Computer Science) – CS.

Upper age limit: 28 years as on 10.11.2023. Applicant should have been born on or after 10.11.1995. 

Cut-off date for eligibility criteria 10.11.2023

Selection: The Selection Process consists of normalized marks obtained (out of 100) in the corresponding paper of GATE 2023, Behavioral Assessment, Group Discussion & Personal Interview.
