Apply for post-doctoral and research associate roles at NIPER
National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education & Research (NIPER); Department of Pharmaceuticals, Ministry of Chemicals & Fertilizers, Govt. of India; has invited applications from eligible Indian nationals for project positions.
Positions are available under a project related to pharmaceutical grade materials development [SP-230] sponsored by Granules India Limited (GIL) under the supervision of Prof. Arvind Kumar Bansal, Academic Supervisor, Dr. Chigurupati Center for Excellence in Innovative and Sustainable Pharmaceutical Development (CCE-ISPD), NIPER, SAS Nagar.
Positions and eligibility are as follows:
Post-Doctoral Fellow (2 positions): Applicant should hold a Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences or Solid state chemistry or related areas. Those having experience in the area of pre-formulation profiling, crystallization, crystal engineering, process development for oral solid dosage forms, solid state characterization shall be preferred.
Research Associate cum Analytical Chemist (Analytical R&D): Applicant should have (i) Ph. D in Analytical chemistry or Pharmaceutical Sciences or Solid state chemistry (ii) Master’s in Analytical chemistry or Pharmaceutical Sciences or Solid state chemistry (MSc with 5 years of experience /M. Pharm. with 3 years of experience). Those with experience in method development, validation and documentation related to HPLC, Solid State Characterization, Dissolution, impurity profiling, stability studies, knowhow of regulatory requirements in the field of Analytical services, stability indicating analytical methods will be preferred.
Age limit: Not more than 35 years. Age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD will be as per GoI rules.
Fellowship: Rs. 65,000/-p.m. + HRA Rs. 13,000/- p.m.
The engagement is full time and purely temporary for all intent and purposes initially for a period of 1 year, extendable to 03 years’ subject to availability of funds and on the satisfactory performance of the candidate and/or co-terminus with the duration of the project. Preference for potential recruitment at GIL can be given, provided there is right fit of candidate for any vacancy.
