Research associate vacancy at ICAR-NIFMD Bhubaneswar, apply by December 12

ICAR-National Institute on Foot and Mouth Disease (Formerly ICAR-Directorate of Foot and Mouth Disease) Arugul, Bhubaneswar, Odisha - 752050, has invited applications for temporary post of a Research Associate (RA) under ‘BMGF Environmental surveillance and early warning system for animal pathogen surveillance’ research project at ICAR-National Institute on Foot and Mouth Disease (ICAR-NIFMD), Arugul, Bhubaneswar– 752050, Odisha. 

The position is for a period of one year or co-terminus with the project completion whatever is earlier.

Essential Qualification

Applicant should hold a Ph.D. or equivalent degree in Life Sciences/Microbiology/Biochemistry/Bio technology or should have 3 years of research, teaching and design and development experience after M.V.Sc/M. Pharma/M.E or M.Tech (Life Sciences)/ with at least One research paper in Science Citation Indexed (SCI) Journal. 

Desirable

Experience in Molecular Diagnosis, Sequencing, and Environmental Sample collections from fields and Cell culture. 

Age

Age of the applicant should not exceed 40 years. 

Emoluments

Rs.67, 000/- + HRA per month (For PH.D. holder) & Rs.61, 000/- + HRA per month (For Master Degree holder).
