Veterinary Council of India All India Quota counselling for BVSc and AH
The activities related to the allotment to 15% All India Quota seats of B.V.Sc & AH Program in recognized Veterinary Colleges in India for 2023-24 has commenced at https://vci.admissions.nic.in/
Applicants should have qualified in National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Under Graduate (NEET UG) 2023 and should satisfy the other eligibility requirements as specified in the Information Bulletin at https://vci.admissions.nic.in/
There will be 4 rounds of allotment- Round 1, Round 2, Mop- Up Round and Stray Round. Allotment will be based on Rank/Score of NEET UG 2023.
Admission shall not be allowed in the case of candidates suffering from certain disabilities specified in the Information Bulletin.
Registration and Payment of fees for Round 1 can be done till 11 pm on 25.9.2023. Facility for Choice filling and locking will be available up to 11.15 pm on 25.9.2023. Results of first round allotment will be announced at 11 am on 27.9.2023. Those getting an allotment have to report at the respective college between 28.9.2023 and 3.10.2023.
Re-choice filling in respect of candidates who have been allotted seat in Round- 1, shall be allowed only for those candidates who physically report at the College in time as per schedule dates. Further, in such cases, candidate has to inform the Nodal Officer of the reporting College about his/her willingness to participate in Round-2 of the Counselling. Candidate may also ensure that the Nodal Officer has made necessary entry/mark in the Counseling Portal about reporting/willingness to participate in Round -2. Authenticated proof for the same may be retained by the candidate.
Candidate who have been allotted seat in Round -1 but not reported for admission to the allotted college shall not be allowed to participate in further round of counselling. For Round 2, Registration and payment of Fees can be done by fresh candidates who have neither registered nor paid registration fees in Round -1. Those registered in Round -1 with payment of fees need not register separately for Round -2.
The time limits for round 2 are as follows: Registration and Payment of fees- 11 am on 4.10.2023 to 11 pm on 8.10.2023; Choice filling and locking – 11.15 am on 4.10.2023 to 11.15 pm on 8.10.2023. Announcement of results of second round - 11 am on 10.10.2023; Reporting at the respective college- between 11.10.2023 and 16.10.2023.
Seats remaining vacant after Round 2 will be filled through Mop Up Round. Fresh candidates have to register and pay the registration fee for Mop-up round. Candidates registered in Round -1 or Round -2 but not allotted seat need not re-register for participating in the Mop-up Round. All candidates have to pay Mop-up Round Fee (Security Deposit) and fill Choices. Candidates who are allotted seat in Round -1 or Round -2 are not eligible to participate in the Mop-up Round.
Vacant seats after Mop up round will be filled through Stray Round. There shall not be fresh registration for Stray Round. Candidates already registered in Mop Round and not allotted any seats in the aforesaid Round are eligible for Stray Round. However, candidate has to make Payment for Stray Round Participation Fee and do choice filling.
