UG and PG programmes at National Sports University, Manipur: Apply by June 25

National Sports University, Imphal, Manipur, a Central University under the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Govt of India, has invited applications for admission to the various courses for the Academic Session 2022-23.

Programs: The courses offered with their duration (years/semester) are as follows:

Undergraduate (i) Bachelor of Science in Sports Coaching [B.Sc. (Sports Coaching)]- 4 years/8 semesters (ii) Bachelor of Physical Education and Sports [BPES]- 3 years/6 semesters

Postgraduate (i) Master of Science in Sports Coaching [M.Sc (Sports Coaching)] (2/4) (ii) Master of Arts in Sports Psychology [M.A. (Sports Psychology)] (2/4) (iii) Master of Physical Education and Sports [MPES]- (2/4)

Age Limit: The minimum age limit for B.Sc. (SC) and B.P.E.S. programme is 17 years as of 1st July 2022.  The upper age limit for seeking admission to B. Sc. (SC) is 25 years and BPES is 23 years as of 1st July 2022. Relaxation in age shall be as per the Government of India Rules. There is no age bar for Postgraduate programme.

Admission to these courses will be on the basis of the National Sports University Entrance Examination (NSUEE) to be held on 19th July, 2022, Physical Fitness Test, Game Proficiency, Viva Voce and Sports Achievement(s) of the candidates. Entrance Examination, Physical Fitness Test etc. will be conducted offline at various selected centres. Details of the selection process are given in the Prospectus.

Those awaiting examination results can also apply. However, such candidates will be admitted provisionally subject to their examination results and submission of relevant documents.
