Senior Research Fellow positions at Marine Products Export Development Authority
The Marine Products Export Development Authority (MPEDA), Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Govt. of India; MPEDA House, Panampilly Avenue, Kochi, Kerala - 682 036, has invited applications from Indian nationals to fill the positions of Senior Research Fellow (SRF) purely on temporary contract basis under the project entitled ‘Monitoring of Pesticide Residues at National Level’, funded by Dept. of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, Ministry of Agriculture and farmers Welfare, Govt. of India and implemented by Quality Control Laboratory, Marine Products Export Development Authority at Kochi.
There are 2 positions of Senior Research Fellow (SRF).
Essential Qualification: Applicants should hold a Master’s degree in Chemistry/ Biochemistry/ Analytical Chemistry/ Applied Chemistry / Organic Chemistry / Physical Chemistry. Applicants should have two years’ experience in NABL food testing laboratories.
Age limit will be 30 years as on 31st December 2023, relaxable in case of SC/ST/OBC candidates as per rules.
Emoluments (consolidated) will be Rs. 25,000/- per month + HRA@18%.
Project period will be till 31.3.2024 and will be extended subject to the continuation of the project.
Selection process: Stage I will be Report Analysis and Presentation. Applicants shall be given a specific topic / document and given specific time, to prepare an analysis report and to make a presentation within the stipulated time. Stage II will be Personal interaction.
