Senior Research Fellow position at NIMHANS Bangalore: Apply by March 11, 2022

National Institute of Mental Health & Neuro Sciences (NIMHANS), an Institute of National Importance, Bangalore - 560 029, has invited applications for filling up one post of ‘Senior Research Fellow (SRF)’ on Contract basis for the Department of Health Research, ICMR funded project titled ‘iHope – Development of a mobile phone application to manage crisis of persons at risk of suicide’ under Dr. Anish V Cherian, Associate Professor of Psychiatric Social Work & Principal Investigator.

Essential Qualification: Applicant should hold MSW/MA Psychology with a good academic record and should have 2 years’ research experience after Master degree.

Applicant should have qualified a national level exam like UGC/ICMR/DST NET etc or equivalent.

Desirable Qualification: M.Phil. (Psychiatric Social Work/Clinical Psychology)

Maximum Age Limit: 32 years with relaxation to SC/ST/OBC candidates as per GOI norms.

Emoluments: Rs. 35,000/- + 24% HRA pm

Duration of the Post is 15 Months. The initial appointment will be made for six months, extendable for 15 months’ subject to performance of the candidate.
