Research Associate and Senior Research Fellow in Agriculture at ICAR NAHEP
Project Implementation Unit, National Agricultural Higher Education Project (NAHEP), Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR), Krishi Anusandhan Bhawan-II, New Delhi-12 has notified the engagement of Research Associate in Agriculture (2 positions) and Senior Research Fellow in Agriculture (2 positions) under NAHEP.
Posting will be at Project Implementation Unit (PIU), National Agricultural Higher Education Project, Krishi Anusandhan Bhawan-II, Pusa, ICAR, New Delhi -110012.
Eligibility: Research Associate (Agriculture): Those with Doctoral Degree should have a PhD in Agriculture & Allied Sciences. Those with Master’s Degree should have Master's degree in the Agriculture & Allied Sciences with 4 years / 5 years Bachelor's degree having 1st division or 60% marks or equivalent overall grade point average, with at least three years of research experience as evidenced from Fellowship/ Associateship/ Training/ other engagements.
It is desirable that the applicant is conversant with various computer applications (MS word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, etc.), data organization/ management/ report preparation/ writing, etc. Knowledge of procurement procedures will be an added advantage.
For the position of Senior Research Fellow (Agriculture), applicants should have Master’s degree in Agriculture and allied subjects of Agriculture like Agri. Economics/ Agri. Engg./ Agri. Extension./ Agri. Statistics/ Horticulture/ Agri Business etc.
It is desirable that the applicant is conversant with various computer applications (MS word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, etc.), data organization/ data management and analysis/ proficiency in data analysis tools, technical report writing and statistical IT applications.
Age Limit: Upper age limit would be 40 years for men and 45 years for women for Research Associate and 35 years for Senior Research Fellow, on the date of interview. Relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/PH category candidates will be as per rules.

The period of appointment of RA/SRF will be initially up to 31st March, 2024 and is likely to be extended subject to satisfactory performance of the candidate. Further, the appointments will be coterminous with the project.
Interested candidates can attend the walk-in-interview on 9th November, 2023 from 10.30 am onwards at Committee Room, PIU-NAHEP Office, Fifth Floor, Krishi Anusandhan Bhawan- II, Pusa, New Delhi110012, with the duly filled application as per the format attached to the Notification.
Candidates must carry all original certificates/mark sheets/testimonials etc. with one set of their self-attested copies from matriculation onwards and experience certificate in original (as applicable) with them when reporting for interview.
