Post Basic Diploma in Oncology Nursing at RCC Trivandrum: Apply by October 30

Regional Cancer Centre (RCC), Thiruvananthapuram, has invited applications for admission to the Post Basic Diploma in Oncology Nursing approved by Government of Kerala, Indian Nursing Council and Kerala Nurses and Midwives Council (KNMC) and offered at the Centre for the academic year 2021-22.

The duration of the course is one academic year (12 months) from the date of commencement of the course.   In addition to open seats, there are seats under Service quota for RCC Staff and Service quota for DME candidates. Eligibility:  Applicants should be an Indian. Applicants should have Passed Plus two/Pre-degree with Physics, Chemistry and Biology and should have passed B.Sc. Nursing or General Nursing and Midwifery. Applicant should possess RN/RM registration from Kerala Nurses and Midwives Council.

Upper age limit is 35 years as on 30.10.2021 for general merit candidates. Relaxation of five years in upper age limit will be given to all SC/ST candidates and of 10 years to service quota candidates.

Admission to the course is on the basis of marks scored by the candidates in their qualifying examination (BSc Nursing / GNM), based on a common index system. Admission of the candidates under Service Quota will also be on the basis of marks scored by the candidates in their qualifying examination (BSc Nursing / GNM), based on a common index system, in the respective category.

Application fee is Rs. 500/- (Rs.250/- for SC/ST candidates), is to be drawn as a Demand Draft of Rs.500/- in favour of The Director, Regional Cancer Centre, Thiruvananthapuram, payable at State Bank of India, Medical College Branch, Thiruvananthapuram or any of its service branches.
