Haripad: The second round of allotment for Plus One admissions has been published. There were 90,471 seats left when the first allotment process was completed. Of this, 20,371 seats were considered in the second allotment. The third allotment for the remaining 70,100 seats will be published on June 19.

With this, the main stage of admission will be complete. After the three rounds, the supplementary allotment list will be published. Those who do not get an allotment until then should renew their application. The students who did not apply earlier and those who were not considered due to errors can also apply.

Students who have received spots in the second allotment can secure their admissions in school from 10 AM today till 5 PM on Thursday. 2,39,961 students have been placed in the first two allotments. The total number of applications are 4,66,071. Of this, 44,410 people applied for seats in multiple districts. There are 3,07,603 merit seats for allotment in the single window system. 2,458 seats have been set aside for differently-abled students.

If allotment is received, the students need to compulsorily get admission in the respective school. The applications of students who do not do this will be removed from the website of the higher secondary department. Those who get allotment in their first option must take permanent admission by paying the fee.

In case students do not get allotment in their preferred schools and wish to wait for another round of allotment, they can opt to get temporary admissions in the schools first allotted to them. They need not pay the fee in such cases.

Original transfer and character certificates must be produced at the time of admission. Self attested copy of the qualifying exam certificate will be accepted.

After the first allotment, 1,20,176 applicants got permanent admission. 99,420 people took provisional admission in anticipation of receiving a higher option. The second allotment has been published including them. Provisional admission is not allowed after the third allotment. The school and subject allotted must be accepted by the student.

Along with merit allotment, admissions are also carried out through community quota. Those who belong to both can accept whichever option they like. However, the option to switch to another after taking admission in one quota will not be available.
