PG Degree admissions at University Departments and Centres of Kannur University

Kannur University, Kerala has invited applications for admission to PG Degree programmes and LL.B. Programme at the University Departments/Centres for the academic year 2024-25.

The Programs are offered at various Departments/Centres in the various Campuses, the details of which are given in the Notification at https://admission.kannuruniversity.ac.in/

Dr. Janaki Ammal Campus, Palayad, Thalassery: M.Sc. Microbiology; M.Sc. Biotechnology; M.Sc. Computational Biology; M.A. Anthropology; MA English; M.A. Economics; M.C.A. (Cost sharing); M. Sc. Molecular Biology; M.B.A. 

Thavakkara Campus, Thavakkara: Master of Library and Information Science (M. Lib.I.Sc). 

Mangattuparamba Campus, Mangattuparamba: Master of Physical Education and Sports (MPES); M.Sc. Mathematics; M.Sc. Statistics; M.Sc. Biostatistics; M.Sc. Clinical and Counselling Psychology; M.Sc. Wood Science & Technology (Industry linked Course); M.A. Journalism & Media Studies; M.A. History; M.Sc. Environmental Science; M.C.A.; M.Sc. Computer Science; M.B.A.

Manjeshswaram Campus:   LL.M: 2 Years (4 Semesters); LL.B.: 3 Years (6 Semesters)

MBA & MCA programmes at Centres are on cost sharing basis. The fee structure of these course at these centre is higher than that of department. The fee structure of LLM programme at Manjeswaram Campus is also higher than that of Janaki Ammal Campus, Palayad. Candidates other than SC/ST/OEC students admitted here are not eligible for fee concession.

Application: Registration for Admission can be done online by 5 pm on 30.4.2024 at https://admission.kannuruniversity.ac.in/  

The fee for online registration is Rs. 500/- (Rs.200/- only for SC/ST/PwBD candidates). For additional programmes, it is Rs. 100/- each for SC/ST/PwBD candidates and Rs. 200/- each for all other candidates. 

Those who have passed all previous semester / year exams and are awaiting final semester /year degree results can also apply subject to the condition that they should attain prescribed minimum qualification before the closing date of admission. 

Admission will be purely on the basis of marks obtained in the entrance test. MBA Admission shall be based on the test score of CAT, CMAT, KMAT and the scores of Group Discussion & Interview.
