PhD admissions at Netaji Subhas University of Technology: Apply by November 29

Netaji Subhas University of Technology (NSUT), formerly Netaji Subhas Institute of Technology (NSIT), Sector-3, Dwarka, New Delhi-110078, has invited applications for Ph.D Admissions, Even Semester, 2024-25. 

For Ph.D. admissions offered in the Departments of Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE); Instrumentation and Control Engineering (ICE), Electrical Engineering (EE), Mechanical Engineering (ME), Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), Information Technology (IT), Civil Engineering, Geo informatics, Design, Management, admission will be based on Written Test conducted by NSUT.

For Ph.D. admissions offered in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, English and Biological Sciences Engineering, admission will be based on NET Score. 

Eligibility

(a) Engineering/Technology/Management: Applicant should possess Bachelor’s and Master's Degrees in Engineering/Technology/Management in the respective discipline with a first class/60% or equivalent Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) in any one of the Degrees. (b) Sciences/ Humanities/ Social Sciences: Applicant should have a Master's Degree in Sciences/ Humanities/Social Sciences in the respective discipline or equivalent with a minimum of 55% of marks or equivalent Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA).

In case the equivalence between the percentage of marks and Cumulative Grade Point Average is not defined by the University from where the candidate has obtained the qualifying degree, then the most recent University Grants Commission/All India Council for Technical Education equivalence criteria shall be applicable.

There is no age limit for admission to Ph.D. programme of the University.

Categories of admissions

Research Scholars with University Research Fellowship (URF), Research Scholars with fellowship from other sponsoring agencies (UGC/DST/CSIR/DBT/ICMR etc.), Research Scholars without any fellowship (Self-financing mode).

Exceptionally brilliant candidates having interest in an academic career shall be considered for University Research Fellowship (URF).

Application can be submitted online at the admission link from 05.11.2024 to 5 pm on 29.11.2024. Separate application forms should be filled for Ph.D. programmes for each Department and Campus.

Application of those, whose result of qualifying examination is likely to be declared on or before the last date given in information brochure, will also be accepted. 

Application Processing Fee is Rs. 1000/-.
