PG Diploma in Agri Business and Management at National Institute of Co-operative Management
Vaikunth Mehta National Institute of Co-operative Management (VAMNICOM), Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, Government of India; Chaturshingi, Savitribai Phule Pune University Road, Pune-411 007, has invited applications for admission to the Post Graduate Diploma In Management Agri Business and Management (PGDM-ABM), 2020-2022.
The Programme is approved by All India Council for Technical Education and Recognized as equivalent to MBA degree by Association of Indian Universities and Accredited by National Board Accreditation, New Delhi*applied for National Board Accreditation extension beyond June 2019.
This is a full-time residential programme with continuous up gradation of curriculum to match industry expectations. NCUI Scholarship will be given for six students, IFFCO Scholarship for three SC/ST students in addition to CICTAB meritorious awards.
Industry and abroad visit are also part of the Programme. There are sufficient sporting facilities including Gymnasium for students.
Eligibility: Applicant should be a Graduate from a recognized University, with minimum of 15 years full time education (10+2+3) with at least 50% marks for General/OBC (NCL)/EWS categories and 45% for SC/ST categories in Graduation and having valid test scores of one of the National Level Common Entrance Tests - CAT / MAT / XAT / ATMA /GMAT/ CMAT of AICTE. Those appearing in forthcoming degree examinations can also apply subject to fulfilment of conditions by 14 August 2020.
Selection: Selection to the Programme is based on (i) Latest valid test score of CAT/MAT/XAT/ATMA/GMAT/CMAT of AICTE at the time of application (GMAT / GRE for foreign national candidates) (ii) Group Discussion (GD) and (iii) Personal Interview (PI).
Reservation: Reservation of seats for OBC (Non Creamy) / SC / ST/Differently Abled persons will be as per Govt. of India rules. Few seats are available for wards of NCCT / NCUI / VAMNICOM employees, Co-operative sponsored candidates and Foreign nationals at VAMNICOM.
Application: Applications can be submitted online at www.vamnicom.gov.in by 31st March 2020. Application fee can also be paid online.
Application can also be submitted offline. The prescribed application form may also be downloaded from www.vamnicom.gov.in. The filled application can be submitted with necessary documents by post along with demand draft of Rs. 500/- in favour of ‘The Director, VAMNICOM, Pune’ to reach the institute by 31st March 2020.
Group Discussion and Personal Interviews will be conducted at selected centres during April/May 2020, subject to sufficient number of candidates opting for it.
