MCC extends choice filling deadline for Round 3 NEET UG counselling

The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) under the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) has announced an extension for the choice filling process in Round 3 of NEET UG counselling.

Candidates can now submit or modify their choices until 11.59 pm on 13 October 2025.

The extension comes in response to the addition of new seats to the undergraduate counselling pool. The committee stated that this move aims to ensure that all eligible candidates get a fair opportunity to exercise their preferences for the newly added seats.

Earlier, MCC had scheduled the release of Round 3 seat allotment results for 11 October 2025. The revised timeline will now accommodate the updated seat matrix before allotment begins.

The ongoing counselling process covers admissions to MBBS, BDS, and B.Sc Nursing programmes across medical and dental colleges in India.
