Kerala opens applications for M.Pharm admissions 2025

The Office of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE) Kerala, has invited applications for admission to the Postgraduate Course in Pharmacy (M.Pharm) in the Government Pharmacy Colleges and in the Government merit quota seats in Self-Financing Pharmacy Colleges in Kerala for 2025-26.
Eligibility for Admission: Applicant should have passed the B.Pharm Degree examination from any of the universities in Kerala or from any other universities recognized by the Kerala University of Health Sciences as equivalent thereto from an institution recognized by the All India Council of Technical Education, New Delhi, and the Pharmacy Council of India, with a minimum of 55% marks (50% for SC/ST communities) for all three years of the B.Pharm Examination (B.Pharm- II, III, IV year) taken together.
For in-service candidates also seeking admission against the service quota, the minimum marks required shall be 55%. Those who have passed B.Pharm course from universities outside Kerala will be eligible for admission only if their qualifying examination is recognized by the Kerala University of Health Sciences before the last date specified for the submission of academic data. Applicants having at least 5 years of professional experience, after passing the B.Pharm course need only 50% marks for admission to the M.Pharm course.
Nativity: Only Indian citizens of Kerala origin are eligible for admission to the M.Pharm Course 2025.
Age: There is no upper age limit for general quota candidates. Service quota candidates should have at least five years of service for superannuation after the completion of the course.
Qualifying Criteria: Applicants including those who apply under the Service Quota, should have qualified in the Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test (G-PAT) – 2025 and should figure in the rank list prepared by the CEE. Candidates who have qualified in a category other than the General (UR- ALL) category as per the G-PAT - 2025 result published by the NBEMS must upload the required documents or undergo the verification process as prescribed in the Prospectus to substantiate the respective category claim, failing which the candidature of the applicant will be cancelled. Applicants under service quota should have completed probation under regular appointment in the concerned department to become eligible to apply.
Mode of Selection: Selection will be from the rank list prepared by the CEE based on the rank of the qualified candidates in the Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test (GPAT) 2025 and subject to other eligibility conditions prescribed in clause 3 of the Prospectus. In case of a tie in GPAT score, the candidate (including service quota) with the higher mark for B.Pharm (4th year marks/ 7 & 8 semesters marks) will be placed higher in the rank list. If the tie persists, the older candidate will be placed higher.
Application: Application is to be submitted online through the link ‘M. Pharm-2025 Online Application’ at www.cee.kerala.gov.in till 6 pm on 10.09.2025. While applying online, candidates should upload the GPAT Score card of 2025. The scanned image of their recent photograph, signature, and all the required documents/certificates to prove their claims, including their reservations, as per the instructions given in the Prospectus (clause 9.2.4) shall also be uploaded. There is no need to send the printout of the Application Acknowledgement page or any supporting documents to the Office of the CEE.
Application Fee: All candidates, including Service candidates, shall remit the required fee through online by using internet banking/credit card/debit card. Application Fee for General/Service candidates is Rs.600/- (Rs. 300/- for SC/ST candidates). Service quota candidates, in addition to applying online, should forward a copy of the Application Acknowledgement page along with all required documents including their service details, to the Controlling Officer concerned as stipulated in clause 9.2.5 of the Prospectus, to reach before 6 pm on 10.09.2025
Centralized Allotment Process: The selection of candidates for admission, including those under the Service Quota will be made by the CEE through a Centralized Allotment Process (CAP) based on various provisions laid down in the Prospectus approved by the Government.
