Post Graduate Medical Admissions 2024 in Karnataka
Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA), 18th Cross, Sampige Road, Malleshwaram, Bengaluru - 560 012, has notified the admission to Post Graduate Medical courses for the year 2024-25 in the state of Karnataka and admission to In-Service seats of DNB (Primary and Secondary) and Diploma (NBEMS).
KEA has invited online applications for admissions to PG Medical courses from the eligible candidates who have qualified in NEET-PG-2024 for the year 2024-25 for the available PG Medical Degree / Diploma courses in Government Medical colleges, Government Quota seats in Private and Minority Medical Colleges and Private seats in Private Medical colleges (KPCF, KRLMPCA, AMPCK and Private Universities) located in the State of Karnataka for the academic year 2024-25.
KEA has also invited online applications from eligible Karnataka in-service candidates who have qualified in NEET-PG-2024 for admission to DNB / Diploma Courses in the State of Karnataka for the academic year 2024-25.
Those who have obtained more than or equal to the prescribed minimum 50th percentile in NEET PG 2024 only are eligible to register and apply online for PG Medical courses for the year 2024-25.
Non-Karnataka candidates will not be eligible for reservation. Hence, only those non-Karnataka candidates who have scored the required minimum 50th percentile or above, fixed for ‘General (UR)’ category as per the qualifying criteria, in NEET-PG 2024 will be eligible to register for admissions through KEA or for any other seats in the State of Karnataka.
SC/ST/OBC eligibility criteria are applicable to Karnataka SC/ST/OBC candidates only.
Registration and payment of fees for admission to Karnataka PG Medical Degree and Diploma courses 2024 can be done online at http://kea.kar.nic.in up to 6 pm on 05.10.2024.
Registration fee, schedule for verification of documents, original documents to be produced for verification and other details will be hosted on the KEA Website. Interested eligible candidates can register and apply online and appear for document verification as per the schedule.
Information Bulletin-2024 detailing admission eligibility criteria and other details are hosted at http://kea.kar.nic.in for the information of the candidates. Applicants should read the Information Bulletin of PGNEET-2024 and understand the eligibility conditions, educational qualification, classification of seats (different types of categories of seats) and eligibility to claim such seats, before registering online for admission to PG Medical courses in the state of Karnataka.
Only candidates who complete the registration process including document verification are eligible for PG Medical seats in Government / Private Colleges in Karnataka.
As per NMC, New Delhi; all the rounds of counselling including Stray Vacancy Round will be conducted only by KEA in online mode. Hence all the PG NEET qualified candidates must register online and complete the document verification process in KEA to become eligible for admission to PG Medical Courses in the State of Karnataka.
