IIM Kozhikode Invites Applications for BMS Programme 2026 at Kochi Campus

The Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode (IIMK) has announced admissions for its full-time Bachelor of Management Studies (Honours with Research) programme for 2026. The four-year undergraduate programme will be delivered at the institute’s Kochi campus and aims to train future leaders for industry, business and public sectors.
The programme offers a major in management along with the option to pursue minors in several interdisciplinary fields. These include Economics and Public Policy, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, Psychology and Behavioural Sciences, Finance and Big Data, Liberal Studies in Management, and Marketing, Sales and Digital Promotion.
Students will also have opportunities to undertake internships with organisations, participate in faculty-led research projects and earn additional academic credits through summer term courses.
Upon completing the programme, students will receive a Bachelor of Management Studies (Honours) degree. Those who complete an additional research component under faculty supervision will be awarded the Bachelor of Management Studies – Honours with Research degree, subject to the institute’s academic regulations and credit requirements.
The academic structure includes foundation courses, core courses and elective subjects. The programme aims to provide students with flexible learning pathways and multidisciplinary exposure.
To be eligible for admission, applicants must have completed the Class XII examination or hold a diploma after ten years of schooling from a recognised board in India. Candidates must present their original mark sheets and certificates by June 1, 2026. There is no age restriction for admission.
Selection will be based on academic performance, entrance test scores and a personal interview. Applicants must appear for the computer-based IIMK BMS Aptitude Test (IIMK BMS AT) scheduled for May 19, 2026, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at designated centres across India.
The entrance test will include two sections: Verbal Ability, covering grammar, vocabulary and reading comprehension, and Quantitative Ability, which includes number systems, algebra, geometry, trigonometry, statistics and probability.
Candidates will be shortlisted for personal interviews based on an Aggregate Index Score calculated using entrance test performance and academic results from Class X and Class XII. Interviews will be conducted in cities including Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Kozhikode, Mumbai and New Delhi.
The final selection will be based on a combined score that includes the entrance test results, interview performance and previous academic record. Admission offers will follow Government of India reservation norms.
Applications must be submitted online through the institute’s official website by April 15, 2026. The application fee is ₹2,125 for SC, ST and PwD candidates and ₹4,250 for all other applicants. Payment can be made through credit card, debit card, net banking, UPI or digital wallets.
