Admission to Fashion Designing and Garment Technology Programme Kerala

Applications have been invited the Directorate of Technical Education, Government of Kerala, for admission to the 2-year Programme in Fashion Designing and Garment Technology (FDGT), for 2024-25 being conducted at the 42 Government Institute of Fashion Designing (GIFD) and 87 Government approved Private Fashion Designing and Garment Technology (FDGT) Institutes across Kerala. In addition to this there are 2 Fashion Designing and Garment Technology Centres under STDD Kerala.

There will be public examination at the end of the first year and the second year. Those successfully completing the course will be given the Certificate in Fashion Designing & Garment Technology under Kerala Government Technical Examination (KGTE) scheme.

Eligibility: Applicant should have passed the SSLC/Equivalent with eligibility for higher studies. There is no upper age limit for admissions.

Last date of One-time Registration fee remittance & Application Submission is 23.08.2024

Application fee is Rs.100/- (Rs.50/- for SC/ST). The amount can be paid online.

Admissions will be as per the list prepared by considering the Grades received in the SSLC/equivalent examination.
