Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) 2024: Last date to apply extended to November 10

Consortium of National Law Universities, P.O. Bag 7201, Nagarbhavi, Bangalore, Karnnataka - 560072, has extended the last date for applying for the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) 2024.
Application for CLAT UG and PG 2024 can be submitted online till 11.59 pm on Friday, November 10, 2023.
CLAT UG is for admission to Under-Graduate Programmes (Five Year Integrated Law Degree) and CLAT PG, for admission to Post-Graduate Programmes (One Year LL.M. Degree) in National Law Universities. The details of Programs available at each University can be ascertained from the website of the concerned university.
Eligibility: For admission to the Five-Year Integrated Law Degree Program, applicant should have passed 10+2 or an equivalent examination with a minimum of 45% of marks (40% marks for SC / ST categories)/ equivalent grade.
For admission to One Year LL.M. Degree Program, applicant should have LL.B. Degree/equivalent degree with a minimum 50% of marks (45% for SC / ST categories)/ equivalent grade.
Those appearing in the qualifying examination in April / May, 2024, are also eligible to apply for the concerned Program.
There is no upper age limit for appearing for the CLAT 2024.
CLAT will be held from 2 pm to 4 pm on 3.12.2023 in offline mode. It will have one paper with 120 Multiple-Choice Questions of one mark each with maximum of 120 marks. There will be Negative Marking of 0.25 Mark for each wrong answer.
For UG CLAT, questions will be from English Language; Current Affairs, including General Knowledge; Legal Reasoning; Logical Reasoning and Quantitative Techniques.
For PG CLAT, questions will be from Constitutional Law; other areas of law such as Jurisprudence, Administrative Law, Law of Contract, Torts, Family Law, Criminal Law, Property Law, Company Law, Public International Law, Tax Law, Environmental Law, and Labour & Industrial Law.
