BVSc & AH Degree admissions at ICAR-Indian Veterinary Research Institute
ICAR-Indian Veterinary Research Institute, a Deemed to be University; Izatnagar, Uttarpradesh -243 122, has invited applications for admission to BVSc & AH Degree Programme for the Academic Session 2023-24.
The duration of B.V.Sc. & A.H degree course is five and half complete professional years including a compulsory rotating internship of one-year duration.
There are 45 seats for the course of which 40 are under Regular/ Open category. 5 seats will be filled by Veterinary Council of India. In addition, there are 10 Supernumerary seats of which 7 are payment seats and 3 are NRI/OCI seats (subject to approval of the competent authority).
Admission to 85% quota will be made based on merit of NEET (UG) -2023 conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA) for the Academic Session 2023-24.
Eligibility: Applicant should be an Indian National and must have attained minimum age of 17 years by 31st December, 2023. Applicant should have passed the Plus 2 level qualifying examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology or Biotechnology and English (as a core course); qualified in each of English, Physics, Chemistry, Biology or Biotechnology, obtained 50% marks in aggregate in these subjects, at the qualifying examination. In respect of candidates belonging to the SC or ST or other special category of students as specified by the Government from time to time, marks required for admission shall be 47.5%.
Applicant must have qualified in NEET(UG) 2023 securing the NEET (UG)- 2023 cut-off marks as per category.
Application: Online Registration and documents uploading by the candidates can be done at the admission link at http://ivri.nic.in/ latest by 6 pm on 20.08.2023. Information Bulletin is also available at this link.
Registration fee is Rs.2000/- (Rs. 1000/- for SC/ST/Divyang (PH) candidates) to be paid online using the link provided in the portal itself.
Applicants must also mail the scanned copy of the documents/ certificates uploaded on the portal along with the Application Summary Page (as a .zip folder/ .rar folder) on email id: ivribvscadm2023@gmail.com.
The counseling for admission shall be conducted by ICAR-IVRI Deemed University, Izatnagar.
