Xiaomi 18 Pro Max: The iPhone 18 Pro Max rival to watch?

The Xiaomi 18 Pro Max has reportedly surfaced on the Geekbench online database, a day after its smaller sibling, the Xiaomi 18 Pro, was spotted on the benchmarking platform.
The device, allegedly carrying the model number M610BB, recorded a single-core score of 2,831 and a multi-core score of 8,843 on Geekbench 7 for Android. However, benchmark results from pre-production prototypes should be treated cautiously and may not reflect the performance of the final retail version.
The Xiaomi 18 Pro Max is expected to be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro chipset, the same processor tipped for the Xiaomi 18 Pro. The chipset is expected to be officially unveiled later this month, with its CPU reportedly reaching a peak clock speed of 5.01GHz.
The prototype listed on Geekbench had 16GB of RAM, although Xiaomi could introduce additional memory configurations when the smartphone launches.
The handset is expected to run Android 17 out of the box with Xiaomi’s HyperOS 4 interface. The Xiaomi 18 Pro series is also tipped to feature upgraded rear displays with AI-powered capabilities, building on the rear-screen feature introduced with the previous generation.
