Wait is over! Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 officially confirmed for PS5, PS4

Activision has officially confirmed Call of Duty: Black Ops 7, marking the first time the Black Ops series has had consecutive releases. The game is set 40 years after the events of Black Ops 6, in the year 2035, where players will experience a world on the brink of chaos, ravaged by violent conflict and psychological warfare. Players can expect an innovative co-op campaign, signature multiplayer gameplay with brand-new maps and near-future weaponry, and round-based Zombies mode.
Black Ops 7 will be available on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and PC via Xbox PC (link unavailable), and Steam. The game will also be included in Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass on day one. Although the release date hasn't been specified, the game is expected to launch later this year, with a full reveal planned for later this summer.
A cinematic teaser has been released, setting the tone for the game's story. According to Matt Cox, General Manager of Call of Duty, "The Black Ops universe is amazing. The creativity and imagination that goes into the storytelling, the rich character depth, and the incredible moment-to-moment gameplay across all modes are exceptional." Fans can look forward to more details in the coming months.
