Vivo is planning to expand its popular V-series in India with the upcoming Vivo V60e 5G, a mid-range smartphone that’s already generating buzz for its impressive spec sheet and competitive pricing. While the official launch date hasn't been confirmed, industry insiders point to October 7, 2025, as the likely reveal date.

The standout rumour? A massive 200MP primary camera sensor, which could make the Vivo V60e 5G the first in its segment to pack such high-end imaging hardware. Adding to its photography prowess, the phone is also expected to feature an 85mm telephoto lens, a rarity in this price category.

Leak reveals affordable pricing:

Well-known tipster Paras Guglani recently shared screenshots allegedly pulled from Flipkart, revealing three possible configurations:

8GB + 128GB – ₹28,749

8GB + 256GB – ₹30,749

12GB + 256GB – ₹32,749

If accurate, this pricing strategy positions the V60e 5G as an affordable powerhouse in the mid-range segment, undercutting other devices in Vivo’s V-series lineup.

Performance, battery, and durability

Under the hood, the V60e 5G is tipped to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 chipset, backed by up to 12GB of RAM, promising snappy multitasking and smooth gaming.

Battery life looks equally impressive, with leaks suggesting a 6,500mAh battery paired with 90W fast charging – a spec combo typically used for premium flagships. On the display front, users can expect a 120Hz OLED panel, delivering vibrant visuals and silky-smooth scrolling.

Durability won't be an afterthought either. An IP68 rating is rumoured, meaning the device will be resistant to dust and water.

Design and colours

The V60e 5G is expected to launch in two striking colour variants – Elite Purple and Noble Gold – with a design language closely inspired by the original Vivo V60.

Launch date & availability

While Vivo has yet to drop an official announcement, all signs point to an October 7 launch in India. Given the leaks and early excitement, this could be one of the most feature-packed mid-range devices to drop this year.
