Prasanna Prasad joins VerSe Innovation as CPTO to lead AI expansion

VerSe Innovation, the parent company of Dailyhunt, Josh, NexVerse.ai, Magzter, and Oneindia, has appointed Prasanna Prasad as its Chief Product and Technology Officer (CPTO).

In his new role, Prasad will oversee the company’s engineering, product, and data science teams, with a primary focus on expanding the use of artificial intelligence (AI) across all VerSe platforms.

Extensive global technology experience

Prasad brings over 20 years of experience in product engineering, data science, and large-scale platform systems, having worked with teams across the United States, India, and Europe.

Most recently, he served as Chief Technology Officer and Head of Product and AI at Verve Group Inc., where he led a global team of more than 200 people and drove AI-fuelled growth. His achievements included building automated platforms, advanced data models, and privacy-focused advertising systems.

Driving AI-powered growth at VerSe

At VerSe, Prasad will focus on strengthening AI systems across content, creators, and digital advertising. His responsibilities include enhancing content personalisation for users, supporting creators to produce higher-quality content, and improving advertising efficiency.

The company plans to develop a unified intelligence layer across its platforms, which will enhance user experience, content relevance, and business outcomes through automation and AI.

Umang Bedi, VerSe Innovation’s leadership, highlighted that AI is becoming central to the development and growth of digital platforms, calling this a major industry shift. He noted that Prasad’s expertise in building large, secure, AI-driven systems will strengthen VerSe’s technology and deliver improved results for users, creators, and advertisers.

Prasad commented that as platforms expand, technology is a critical differentiator. He emphasised that his focus will be on making systems more accurate, consistent, and scalable to deliver superior user experiences and business performance.
