Rapper Travis Scott has fuelled speculation about a possible collaboration with Grand Theft Auto VI, thanks to a subtle reference in his latest music video. The moment, spotted by eagle-eyed fans, has prompted rumours that the artist could possibly have his own in-game radio station.

Scott is currently focused on promoting the second JACKBOYS album, which features contributions from fellow Cactus Jack label artists like Don Toliver and Sheck Wes. The Houston native released the album’s lead single, 2000 Excursion, on Wednesday, pairing it with grainy, stylised visuals. Towards the end of the video, at exactly 3:55 minutes, a short scene appears to reference GTA 6.

The frame in question shows a red Ferrari parked on a porch, and a closer look reveals a Florida licence plate on the car that reads “GTA VI6”. The reference appears deliberate, although it remains unclear whether Scott or his label, Cactus Jack Records, is directly involved with the game. That hasn’t stopped fans from speculating online that Scott might appear in GTA VI with his own in-game radio station.

Scott is not the only rapper whose name has been connected with GTA VI. In June, Jermaine Dupri claimed that Drake is also being considered for a dedicated radio station within the game, which could serve as a platform for launching new tracks.

Given Rockstar’s history of collaborating with well-known musicians, these theories are not entirely far-fetched. Grand Theft Auto V featured a range of radio stations hosted by popular artists, such as Blonded FM with Frank Ocean, iFruit Radio by Danny Brown, and The Lab, run by Oh No and The Alchemist under the aliases ‘Doctor No’ and ‘Chemical Bro’. Notably, Travis Scott’s early hit Upper Echelon was included in the Radio Los Santos playlist.

Fans were quick to react on X, with one user exclaiming, “WOW WHATTTT?? Maybe a leak that he will be a part of GTA6?”. Another speculated, “isnt he getting his own radio station?”, while a third remarked, “That's an intriguing detail.”
