Google sets August 21 for Pixel 10 launch, teases design and early offer
Google has officially announced the launch date for its upcoming Pixel 10 smartphone series. The new lineup will be introduced on August 21 during the brand’s 'Made by Google' event. Ahead of the unveiling, the tech giant has released a teaser via the Google Store and its social media platforms, offering a first glimpse of the device’s design and confirming some early details. The teaser also promotes a special offer for users who opt in for launch updates.
Taking to X (formerly known as Twitter), the company said, “Ask more of your phone. Sign up and subscribe on the Google Store for an exclusive offer.”
The teaser image showcases the Pixel 10 Pro, which closely resembles the Pixel 9 Pro in appearance. The phone features a prominent horizontal camera bar at the rear, housing three camera sensors alongside an LED flash. This layout strongly suggests the model in the image is likely the Pro variant. Interestingly, recent leaks hint that even the standard Pixel 10 model may include a triple-camera setup this year—something never seen before in a base Pixel handset.
The Pixel 10 Pro shown in the teaser comes in a Moonstone finish—a light grey colour with a matte rear panel and a glossy metallic frame. The power and volume keys remain positioned on the right-hand side, consistent with previous Pixel designs. The overall aesthetic is largely unchanged, retaining a boxy form factor with flat edges and slightly rounded corners.
Alongside the visual preview, Google has also announced a limited-time offer for early subscribers. Those who sign up for Pixel 10 updates on the Google Store by 12:30 PM IST on August 19 will receive an exclusive offer to use with Pixel 10 series phones. It cannot be applied to any other Google products or services.
Pre-orders are expected to commence shortly after that. While Google has yet to reveal full specifications, more details are likely to emerge in the coming days. India is expected to be one of the initial markets to receive the Pixel 10 series, as the company continues to strengthen its footprint in the country.
