Struggling to find old emails? Gmail’s new AI-powered search makes it easier

Gmail has introduced an AI-powered search upgrade designed to help users find emails more efficiently by prioritizing relevance over chronology.
Unlike traditional search results that display emails in order based on keywords, the new system factors in elements such as recency, frequently clicked emails, and frequent contacts to deliver the most relevant results at the top. This update aims to save time and improve search accuracy in cluttered inboxes.
The “most relevant” search results feature is now rolling out globally for personal Google account users and will be available on both the web and Gmail's official app for Android and iOS. Users can toggle between “most relevant” and “most recent” results for a customized search experience.
Google has announced plans to extend this feature to business users in the future.
