USA: Amridhesh Unnikrishnan, a talented swimmer from Palakkad, Kerala, and a proud member of the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), has made the nation proud by winning an impressive seven medals at the World Police and Fire Games 2025 held in Birmingham, USA.

Representing India and the CISF on the global stage, Amridhesh secured four gold, two silver and one bronze medal at the prestigious international event, which features participants from police and fire departments across the world.

Speaking about his journey, Amridhesh said he joined the CISF in 2022 and underwent training under the Indian Navy. His first major competition was the All India Police Games held in March 2025, where he also bagged four gold medals. His outstanding performance earned him a spot at the World Police Games in the USA.

He expressed gratitude to the CISF for its constant support and encouragement. "The CISF provided me with all the facilities and the space needed for regular training. I thank the department, my coaches, and the entire support team for standing by me throughout," he said.

The CISF has extended its heartfelt congratulations to Amridhesh for his exceptional accomplishment and wishes him continued success in the future.
