Gokulam FC players given warm welcome at Kalpetta after I-League victory

Kalpetta (Wayanad): The star players Muhammed Rashid, Emil Benny and Alex Saji who led Gokulam Kerala FC to victory in I-League defeating Manipur Trau FC were given a grand reception in Kalpetta.

The footballers were warmly welcomed by District Football Association and Sports Council on the premises of the new bus stand here.

Indian Football team player C K Vineeth inaugurated the event held at Wyndvalley in Kalpetta. The players were handed over with a  memento.

Saleem Kadavan and K Rafeeq handed over presents to the parents of the star players. Also Binoy Meenangadi, a yesteryear football coach, was honoured at the event.
