Fan poll: Dortmund concedes defeat to Kerala Blasters as KBFC emerges as the team with more fans!

New Delhi: Kerala Blasters, renowned for their passionate fanbase, has garnered attention from German Bundesliga club Borussia Dortmund. Both teams are famous for their vibrant supporters, who create an electrifying atmosphere during matches, especially in home games, where stadiums become a sea of yellow.

Recently, Dortmund celebrated Kerala Blasters by engaging in a social media poll to determine which club has the most fans globally. The poll, organised by social media influencer Fiago under the title "Fiago Fans Cup," posed the question of which club boasts the largest fanbase.

The results revealed that Kerala Blasters emerged victorious, with 50.3 percent of participants voting in their favour, while 49.7 percent opted for Dortmund. Following the announcement, Borussia Dortmund shared the results on social media, acknowledging Kerala Blasters with a lighthearted meme featuring two people exchanging high-fives.

Notably, other clubs such as River Plate and Boca Juniors also made it to the quarter-finals of the poll, but only Blasters and Dortmund progressed to the final round, underscoring the significance of this friendly competition. The interaction highlights the growing recognition of Kerala Blasters on the international stage, reflecting the club's fervent fan culture.
