Yashasvi Jaiswal fights cramps to score 5th Test Ton

Leeds: In the ongoing 1st Test match between India and England at Headingley in Leeds, Yashasvi Jaiswal has etched his name in the annals of Indian cricket with the young opener bringing up a brilliant century on Day 1. Jaiswal played a crucial role in India's strong start, forming a solid partnership with KL Rahul.
The partnerships between Yashasvi Jaiswal and KL Rahul, and later with the Indian skipper Shubman Gill, have been instrumental in India's strong start. The opening pair made a well-composed 91. Later on, Gill scored a 50, with Jaiswal further punching through the English bowlers.
Even though debutant Sai Sudharsan failed to impress with the bat in the first innings, India is in a commanding position with Jaiswal (100*) and Gill (58*) at the crease. At the end of session two, India is 215/2.
