WPL 2026 dates and venues announced: Navi Mumbai and Vadodara to host

The fourth edition of the Women’s Premier League (WPL 2026) is set to kick off in Navi Mumbai from January 9, with the tournament final to be held in Vadodara. Traditionally played in the February-March window, this year’s WPL 2026 schedule has been moved forward to accommodate the Men’s T20 World Cup, starting on February 7.
WPL Chairperson Jayesh George confirmed the venues and format during his opening remarks at the WPL 2026 player auction, stating, “The upcoming edition of the Women’s Premier League will be played in Navi Mumbai, and the final will take place in Vadodara.”
The WPL 2026 tournament will follow a caravan model, with the first half of the league hosted at the DY Patil Stadium, Navi Mumbai—the same venue where India lifted the Women’s ODI World Cup earlier this month. The league will then move to Vadodara, where the WPL 2026 final is scheduled for February 5.
