T20 World Cup: Netherlands vs Namibia head-to-head, stats and recent form

New Delhi: The Netherlands and Namibia will renew their rivalry when they meet in the 10th match of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi on Tuesday. Placed in Group A alongside India, Pakistan and the USA, the fixture marks the Netherlands’ second outing of the tournament, while Namibia begin their campaign with this encounter.

Head-to-Head in T20Is

The two sides have faced each other five times in T20 internationals. The Netherlands enjoy a superior record, having won three matches, while Namibia have registered one victory. One contest ended without a result.

The Dutch secured their first T20I win over Namibia in October 2019 with a 44-run triumph. Namibia responded two years later, clinching a six-wicket win in Abu Dhabi in October 2021. However, the Netherlands went on to win the next two meetings between the sides, played in Geelong in October 2022 and Kirtipur in February 2024.

Recent form

The Netherlands head into the match with mixed results in their recent T20I outings, managing just one win in their last five games (W, L, L, NR, L). They began their World Cup campaign with a defeat to Pakistan in the tournament opener.
