India vs Pakistan: Fans furious after Mohammed Shami bowls 5 wides in first over

Dubai: After months of waiting, fans were finally able to witness the high octane clash between India and Pakistan at the ongoing Champions Trophy on Sunday.
The match saw a dramatic beginning in the first over after Pakistan won the toss and opted to bat. Mohammed Shami, who bowled the first over, conceded five wides. Despite the wide deliveries, Pakistan only managed to score six runs from the over, including one run from a single.
The first ball to Imam-ul-Haq went for no runs, while the second was a wide down the leg side, collected by keeper KL Rahul. The next ball also went without a run, followed by two more wides in a row. After three deliveries, Shami bowled the sixth ball, which resulted in two more wides, bringing the total to five wides for the over.
In the following over, Harshith Rana bowled a wide as well. Imam-ul-Haq replaced the injured Fakhar Zaman to open the batting alongside Babar Azam. After three overs, Pakistan was at 14 runs without losing a wicket. In Shami's third over, he gave away four runs, with no wides.
