In the middle of the misty hills of Mussoorie, India’s T20 World Cup hero Kuldeep Yadav is all set to marry his longtime partner Vanshika Chadha today. While the world knows Kuldeep for his magical wrist spin, the woman he has chosen to spend his life with has a story that is refreshingly grounded and away from the spotlight.

The couple is set to tie the knot tonight at the iconic Welcomhotel The Savoy, marking the end of a decade-long journey that began long before the fame, the wickets, and the World Cup trophies.

Who is Vanshika Chadha?

Vanshika Chadha isn't your typical "celebrity partner." She has built a life and career entirely independent of the cricket world’s glamour.

Kuldeep and Vanshika are both from Kanpur. While Kuldeep grew up in the Lal Bungalow area, Vanshika lived just a few kilometers away in Shyam Nagar. Their families have known each other for years, and the two have been friends since they were children.

Vanshika is a bright academic who travelled to Australia, for her higher studies. She completed her Master’s degree there before returning to India.

Professionally, she works with the Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) in a managerial/administrative role. She has often been described by those close to the family as a "steady anchor" who supported Kuldeep even during his toughest professional phases.

Unlike many high-profile partners, Vanshika does not have an active public social media presence. Kuldeep once famously said in an interview, "I want a partner who can care for my family," and in Vanshika, fans believe he has found exactly that.

Today’s wedding: A star-studded hill station affair

The wedding today is a private Hindu ceremony featuring the traditional seven pheras. After yesterday’s high-energy Haldi and Sangeet, where Yuzvendra Chahal and Suresh Raina were seen dancing to the beats of dhol, today is the big moment.

Teammates Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, and Jasprit Bumrah are expected to arrive in Mussoorie today. Other legends like MS Dhoni and Sunil Gavaskar are also on the VVIP guest list.

After the intimate mountain wedding, the couple will head to their home state for a massive celebration. A grand reception is planned for March 17 at Hotel Centrum, Lucknow.
