BCCI announces Prince Yadav, Ravi Bishnoi as injury replacements for England, Zimbabwe series

The BCCI has announced two changes to India's squads ahead of the upcoming white-ball assignments, with fast bowler Prince Yadav and leg-spinner Ravi Bishnoi coming in as injury replacements.
Prince Yadav has been drafted into India's ODI squad for the England series after Harshit Rana was ruled out with a Grade 1 right hamstring injury.
Rana experienced discomfort during the previous match, and subsequent scans confirmed the injury. He will now undergo rehabilitation at the BCCI Centre of Excellence.
The young Delhi pacer earned widespread recognition with his impressive performances for Lucknow Super Giants in IPL 2026 and now gets an opportunity to make his mark at the international level.
Meanwhile, Varun Chakaravarthy has been ruled out of the T20I series against Zimbabwe after sustaining a Grade 2 left hamstring injury. The BCCI has named experienced leg-spinner Ravi Bishnoi as his replacement.
Bishnoi, who has been a regular in India's T20 setup, returns to bolster the spin attack with his deceptive googlies and ability to deliver in pressure situations.
The changes highlight India's growing bench strength as the team continues to manage player workload during a busy international schedule.
