Asia Cup: PCB brings in motivational speaker to ease team pressure ahead of India clash

Dubai: Ahead of the crucial Super 4s Asia Cup encounter with India, Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) chairman Mohsin Naqvi visited the national team’s net session on Saturday to engage with the squad and lift their spirits.
In addition, the PCB has roped in motivational speaker Dr Raheel Ahmed to help ease the players’ stress before Sunday’s high-pressure clash.
Sources reveal that several young players have been struggling to handle the mental pressure of facing India’s star-studded lineup. Dr Ahmed has already conducted one-on-one sessions with some squad members to identify the underlying causes of mental lapses during pressure situations.
According to an insider, Dr Ahmed joined the team after Pakistan’s group league matches and has been working closely with the support staff ever since.
In another uncommon move, Pakistan skipped their usual pre-match press conference for the second consecutive game, sparking speculation about tension within the camp.
