Asia Cup 2025: Fans cautioned against online fake ticket sales

Dubai : The Asian Cricket Council has warned fans against purchasing counterfeit tickets for the upcoming Asia Cup, set to be held in the United Arab Emirates starting September 8.

Officials said ticket sales have not yet begun, and any tickets currently being offered on online platforms are fake. Spectators holding such tickets will not be permitted entry into stadiums.

The ACC and the Emirates Cricket Board said details of official ticket sales will be announced soon.

Asia Cup begins on September 9 and India is placed in Group A of alongside Pakistan, Oman, and the UAE. The Asia Cup final is scheduled on September 28 in Dubai.

Indian squad lining up for Asia Cup include, Suryakumar Yadav (captain), Shubman Gill (vice-captain), Abhishek Sharma, Hardik Pandya, Axar Patel, Jasprit Bumrah, Jitesh Sharma, Shivam Dube, Arshdeep Singh, Sanju Samson, Harshit Rana, Tilak Varma, Rinku Singh, Varun Chakravarthy, Kuldeep Yadav.

Standbys are Prasidh Krishna, Washington Sundar, Riyan Parag, Dhruv Jurel, Yashasvi Jaiswal.
