New Delhi: Indian opening batsman Abhishek Sharma smashed cricket records on Thursday, blasting a historic 30-ball century against Afghanistan in the final T20 International at the Arun Jaitley Stadium.

The explosive left-hander dismantled the Afghan bowling attack from the very first over under the lights in Delhi. His relentless power-hitting rapidly guided India to 132 runs without loss inside the first nine overs, leaving the opposition completely defenceless.

The Record Milestone

The historic moment arrived during the 8.3 over mark against the bowling of Abdollah Ahmadzai.
