The countdown is over as the Commonwealth Games 2026 begin in Glasgow, Scotland, on July 23, with more than 3,000 athletes from 74 Commonwealth nations set to compete over the next 11 days.
India heads into the Games with a strong contingent and hopes of adding another impressive medal haul despite the event featuring a trimmed-down programme compared to previous editions.
