Budapest: India enjoyed another productive day at the Polyák Imre, Varga János and Kozma István Memorial Senior Ranking Tournament 2026, with Neha claiming the women's 59kg title while Mansi secured silver, taking the country's overall medal count to eight.
Former U17 world champion Neha continued her impressive rise in senior wrestling by defeating American Abigail E Nette 6-4 in a closely fought final. The victory handed India its second gold medal of the tournament after Aman Sehrawat's success in the men's freestyle competition.
India also celebrated a double podium finish in the women's 62kg category. Mansi progressed to the final but was unable to complete her challenge after suffering an injury during the gold medal bout against Canada's Ana P Godinez Gonzalez, settling for silver.
