Kerala Governor to inaugurate MBIFL 2025; CM to attend closing ceremony

Thiruvananthapuram: The sixth edition of the Mathrubhumi International Festival of Letters (MBIFL) is set to take place at Kanakakunnu in Thiruvananthapuram from February 6 to 9, with an exciting lineup of events and speakers. The festival will be inaugurated by Kerala Governor Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar, and the closing ceremony will be graced by Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan on February 9.

Over the course of the four-day festival, more than 400 speakers from across the globe will come together to discuss a wide array of topics under the central theme of ‘Currents of Change’. The festival will provide a platform for thought-provoking discussions, literary presentations, and exchanges of ideas.

In addition to the intellectual sessions, the festival will also feature a variety of cultural events, providing attendees with a chance to experience Kerala’s vibrant cultural heritage.
