Lady Gaga sets Paris ablaze!

Paris: The Paris Olympics had a stunning start with the athletes parading on boats in the historic Seine river. 

Lady Gaga delivered a dazzling performance as the opening musical act for the Paris 2024 Olympics, though it was prerecorded. The Grammy and Oscar winner began her act on the steps along the Seine River, performing Zizi Jeanmaire's “Mon Truc en Plumes” with eight dancers wielding pink feather fans. She later moved to the piano. The reason for the prerecorded performance was not immediately clarified by her representatives. An Associated Press reporter observed Gaga warming up about three hours before the ceremony, performing for an hour before waving to fans and leaving. Gaga's appearance was a surprise, not listed in the advance program but widely speculated after her recent sightings in Paris.

French-Malian singer-songwriter Aya Nakamura, who is the most listened-to French-speaking musician worldwide, also performed at the grand ceremony.
