Kazan, Russia: Russian President Vladimir Putin has welcomed offers from BRICS leaders to mediate in the Ukraine conflict, stating that Moscow's forces are advancing on the battlefield. This announcement was made by his spokesman on Wednesday.

Desire for Active Contribution

Many countries "expressed a desire to contribute more actively" to resolving the conflict, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov told reporters on the sidelines of the BRICS summit.

Positive Dynamics on the Battlefield

In private discussions with other leaders, Putin emphasised "the very positive dynamics on the front for the Russian armed forces," Peskov added.
