Bangkok: The Miss Universe 2025 pageant, already grappling with controversy following the reported resignation of multiple judges, faced a sudden health scare after contestant Dr. Gabrielle Henry, Miss Universe Jamaica 2025, suffered a terrifying fall from the main stage during the preliminary evening gown competition on November 19.

The 28-year-old was immediately rushed to Paolo Rangsit Hospital, sparking widespread concern among global pageant fans just days before the grand finale scheduled for November 21.

Videos of the incident, which instantly went viral on social media, show Gabrielle walking confidently in a flowing orange evening gown and high heels. As she neared the edge of the stage, she appeared to miss a step and fell off the raised platform.

The Miss Universe Jamaica Organisation confirmed the incident in an Instagram post, reassuring supporters about her health.

Their statement read: "She was rushed to the Paolo Rangsit Hospital, where medical professionals are attending to her care and have advised that she is not suffering from any life-threatening injuries; however, they continue to conduct tests to ensure her full recovery."

The Miss Universe Jamaica Organisation also thanked the public for their love and support. "We kindly ask everyone to stay upbeat, lift her in prayer, and send positive thoughts as she receives the necessary medical care. We thank everyone for their outpouring of love, support, and continued prayers," it added.
