Lebanon displacement figures: Over 1 million people registered since Israel-Hezbollah war

Beirut: Lebanese authorities reported on Monday that more than one million people have registered as displaced following the outbreak of war between Israel and Hezbollah on March 2.

According to a statement, 10,49,328 displaced individuals have registered their details on a portal linked to the Ministry of Social Affairs, highlighting the scale of the humanitarian crisis. Of these, 1,32,742 people are currently residing in over 600 collective shelters across Lebanon.

Officials warned that the ongoing conflict continues to disrupt communities and displace thousands, with emergency shelters and relief efforts working to provide immediate support to those affected.
